Episode 4: The Honeymoons Continue

Welcome Back to Married at First Sim Sight. Some of the honeymoons got off to a rocky start, with Phoenix and Shawna getting into their first disagreement and spending the evening apart. The other couples seemed to be faring a bit better with Aubree and Mason spending the evening in the ocean together and Rose and Jaime were the first couple to get physical. 

Our couples are starting out their second day of their honeymoons. 

Rose decides to take a stab at cooking some breakfast for her and Jaime. 

Rose: I'm not much of a cook. I do good to boil water, but I wanted to try to make some french toast for Jaime...(laughs). I'm not sure what happened....it got stuck to the bottom of the pan...(shakes head)...I don't know.

Jaime: Well, it was really sweet of her to try...

(cut to scene of Rose and Jaime having breakfast)

Rose kisses Jaime on the cheek, "Surprise! I wanted to fix something special for you!" Jaime looks down at the burnt mess on his plate, "Oh! Thank you. That was so sweet of you." Rose looks at Jaime expectantly, as he slowly raises a forkful to his mouth, "Now tell me the truth.  How is it?" Jaime chokes down the bite, "MMM....." clears his throat, "Yeah, that is really good." 

As Rose and Jaime share a "delicious" breakfast our other couples are starting their days a bit differently. 

Mason: I work out every morning. So, I wanted Aubree to join me. I want us to do stuff...or at least try doing stuff together. 

Aubree: Yeah, I don't really do gyms, but I agreed to go with him. I just kinda watched as he ran on the treadmill....But I did find him really sexy working out! (grins).

Mason: (blushes) I guess she liked watching me run...because when I got off the treadmill, she just laid one on me. Not that I'm complaining...

Aubree: I don't know. I do feel like we're struggling to connect completely. We have these great moments, but otherwise it doesn't feel like we're on the same page. 

Phoenix and Shawna are trying to work things out. 

Shawna: When I woke up I realized I might have overreacted a bit. Luckily I woke before Phoenix so I got myself up off the floor and cleaned up a bit...."

Phoenix: Shawna apologized for the scene she made yesterday and then called and made us a reservation for the restaurant at the resort. I accepted her apology, but I'm taking things a little carefully....I just really didn't like the way she acted. 

(cut to scene of Phoenix and Shawna at the restaurant)

Shawna looks down, "Look, I really want to apologize for last night. I don't usually act like that. I'm usually very logical and think things through...I...I don't know, I think all this just got my emotions worked up." Jaime looks up from the menu, "It's okay. But you have to understand I have business associates all over...I may run into people I know and my job is really important to me. I'm working my way up and nothing is going to get in my way...and I have to schmooze people to get where I want to go." 

"Yeah, no, I mean, I understand," Shawna nods.

"Look, let's just eat and enjoy our meal." Phoenix motions to the waiter. 

As the day wears on, Rose and Jaime decide to enjoy the spa facilities. 

Jaime: I set up a couples massage followed by a massage class. After our massages, the masseuse taught us the finer points of massage. It was nice. 

Rose: Ah! It was great. The massages were wonderful and the class was fun....I let Jaime practice the technique on me...he's a good student! (laughs)

Phoenix and Shawna also decided to check out the spa and take a class of their own. 

Phoenix: The foot massage was nice. Doing something kind of different and a little intimate was good for us, I think. I'm hoping we are moving on from the problem.

Shawna: Oh! I hated doing the foot massage! I don't like touching feet! 

All the couples decided to get together for the evening and headed to the bar/club in the resort. 

Phoenix: It was nice seeing the other couples, but we didn't really spend that much time with them. I'm starting to wonder if Shawna has a juice problem. We spent the whole evening sitting at the bar while the other couples were dancing...I don't know...maybe she's just nervous or something....

Rose: It was fun! We met up with the other couples and danced the night away. It was a great way to round up the honeymoon. It was also nice to see how things were going with the others....Aubree and Mason look so cute together, but they still seem a little awkward with each other. And I don't know what is going on with Phoenix and Shawna. They spent the whole night sitting at the bar, they barely spoke to each other...I'm worried about them.

Tune in next week when the couples finally get back to real life. They are moving into their homes at the Married at First Sim Sight compound and things start to get real as they add in work, families and friends into their lives.
