Episode 3: The Honeymoons

Welcome Back to Married at First Sim Sight. Our couples have gotten married, had their reception and are now headed off for their honeymoon at the Sapphire Shores Resort and Spa in the beautiful, tropical island of Sulani. 

Rose: I'm so excited! I've never been to Sulani before. I've heard of the Resort we're going to though and it is supposed to be amazing!

The couples grab their bags and travel to Sulani. They are staying in the private bungalows overlooking the ocean. The Sims settle into their rooms. And things are starting out well for our couples. 

Rose: "This room is amazing!"

Jaime: Sulani is beautiful and the room is great, but I was a little taken aback by the fact that the bathroom is not in a separate room! I mean, we just met!

Rose and Jaime spend some time getting to know each other and discover more things they have in common. Rose decides to bring up her desire to get a cat right away. 

Jaime: It was really funny! I think she thought it would be some kind of deal-breaker or something. 

(scene cuts to Rose and Jaime talking in the room)

Rose says, "I guess I should bring this up right away. (hesitates) I want to get a cat when we move in to our house." Jaime laughs, "Okay...?" Rose continues,"I just wanted to make sure you are okay with that...I mean it, I want one...right away." Jaime just nods, "It's fine with me! To be honest, I want a house full of life. Animals, kids..." Rose smiles, "Okay. That sounds good. But we have to wait a little on the kids," she laughs. 

Mason and Aubree still seem to be having some trouble connecting. 

Aubree: I just feel so uncomfortable.

Aubree: It's weird I like Mason and at the wedding we kissed, but I just feel uncomfortable around him now. It's just so awkward being in a hotel room with someone I barely know. 

Mason: I feel like I'm having to work too hard. She'll barely look at me now and I don't know what I did wrong. 

Checking in with Phoenix and Shawna, things seem to be going really well. 

Shawna: We seemed to just click at first. The conversation flowed and it was great, but then weird things started happening. 

Shawna: I went out for a swim and when I came back...

Shawna: There was my NEW husband sitting in our HONEYMOON suite with another woman...Who does that?! He tried to say he knew her from some business dealings he had or something, but he brought another woman into our hotel room...while his NEW WIFE was out....No, that's just not okay.

Shawna decided to leave the room and headed into the main building. 

Shawna: I decided to just get a drink and stay away from the room for awhile. He obviously had plenty of company!

Phoenix: She was really overreacting! I saw Bella walk by outside, I've done some business with her and her husband before. So, I just called out to her to say hi. Bella can be a little forceful and she just came on in to the room - I didn't invite her in and I wasn't trying to do anything sneaky! Bella left right after Shawna stormed away, so I decided to just let her cool off. I was tired, I decided to just get some sleep!

In the meantime, our other couples seem to be getting along well.

Aubree: We laid out for awhile and chatted. Then we decided to go for a swim.

Mason: Yeah, I would say things improved once we started just not thinking so much and just tried to have fun with each other. 

Aubree: After a swim, I decided to head over to the bar for a quick drink. I ran into Shawna on the way....she was....in a bad way. She obviously was drinking for awhile. Things aren't going too well for them. I feel so bad for them. 

Shawna says her voice slurring, "He brought another woman into our room! What is that all about!"
"Maybe it was just a friend or business partner, like he said," Aubree offers. 
"Dosn't matta! He was just sitting there...hiccup...chattn' her up..." Shawna shakes her head.

Shawna: No, I don't remember running into Aubree...I must have made my way back to the room at some point...changed clothes and found myself on the floor the next morning...

Rose and Jaime's relationship seemed to be going really well. 

Rose: We were out on the deck and it was just so romantic. Jaime took my hands and we were looking in each other's eyes...and well...he kissed me! 

Things seemed to heat up for this couple after they headed into the main building.

Rose: (blushing) Uh...yeah, well...(laughs)...things were going really well!

 Rose: We were just walking around checking out the main building...

 Jaime: (laughing) I don't want to kiss and tell...but yeah, we did woohoo. Don't tell her I told! (shakes head).

The couples all finally make their way back to their rooms for the night. Things are only getting started for our couples. Stay tuned to see the rest of the honeymoons and find out if these couples will be able to make it work.
